Overview
This second course in our new “Advanced Skills” series for the modern project manager explores challenges related to the strategic alignment of projects and the integration of various stakeholders viewpoints. Projects are much at risk of derailing if stakeholder’s expected business value and overall organizational strategy are not tightly connected. We will explore ways to help stakeholders identifying if a project has value and connecting the dots between benefit analysis, project goals, and key deliverables. We will see the importance of the project manager role when it comes to provide project stakeholders with necessary insights into translating the project’s purpose into tangible outcomes.
